Plugging in Vehicles to Shore Power
It is the expectation that vehicles are plugged in when they are stationary at any of the 3 bases. We have had multiple occasions recently where vehicles were found dead in the bays and were not plugged in to shore power. Vehicles will not be left running outside a base in lieu of being plugged in. read more
Washing/Cleaning of CHS Vehicles
Reminder that all CHS Vehicles will be cleaned at the end of shift. This includes washing the exterior of the vehicle, wiping down the hard surfaces inside the vehicle, emptying the garbage and mopping the floors. Please see the attached SOG 4.5.07 - Vehicle Cleaning and Decontamination. The garage bays being full is not an excuse for leaving a vehicle unwashed. Trucks can be moved. read more

Health Fair, Flu Shots and Benefits!
Our Health Fair is on September 14th and it will run from 1100 – 1900. Bring your family for food, ice cream, several vendors and live animals! Sign up sheet for the flu vaccination clinic are posted on the bulletin board across from my office. You will need to sign up in advance to ensure enough vaccinations are planned for, and you need to bring your insurance card to the clinic. Self-Dispatching Drift
There has been some drift with units, mostly fly cars, self-dispatching themselves on jobs. The GO for multiple paramedic response is linked below as a reminder. No one should respond to a call unless sent by the dispatcher. If someone is on admin (not assigned to the road) and would like to offer help to the dispatcher as an additional unit, that is acceptable. 5.23.01 Double Paramedic Response.docx
CHS Temperature Survey
As we talked about at the Staff Meeting on Wednesday, we have put together a Temperature and over all Engagement survey to see how we have been doing the past 6 months. Transfer Info
When reporting for a transfer please make sure to gather all of the paperwork needed from the sending facility, this includes a face sheet, PCS form and voucher form. You should also be obtaining a a HIPAA signature for all interactions. If you have any issues getting any of this paperwork please let Dawn know.
